Abstract

Image improvement is an image processing process that is indispensable to improve poor image quality. Image quality improvement can be used to make it easier to recognize the face of a thief caught by CCTV. One of the methods used to improve image quality is by using the Fast Fourier Transform method. The results of facial image quality improvement using the Fast Fourier Transform method are used to improve the quality of facial images so that the image captured by CCTV can be seen clearly. Thus the campus can more easily recognize the thief's face. To make it easier to solve this problem, image enhancement is carried out using the Fast Fourier Transform method. The process of improving the quality of the face image also uses the VB.Net 2008 program, the inputted data is in the form of a thief's face then processed and produces a better image quality output of the thief's face.

Abstract

Vitiligo is a disease that causes skin color to fade. Besides being able to attack any skin area on the body, this fading can also occur on the inside of the mouth, eyes, and hair. For the general public, to find out a diagnosis of vitiligo, you must consult an expert who is an expert in the diagnosis of this disease. However, the problem that often occurs is the inefficient use of time for experts to serve many patients for consultations so that it is difficult to handle patient problems in an efficient time. So that we need an application that can help, namely an expert system. An expert system is a computer program that contains knowledge from one or more human experts regarding a specific field. Expert systems can solve problems in accordance with the knowledge of an expert that is entered into the system. Expert systems in general are often used to carry out activities to diagnose a problem that only an expert can solve. Fuzzy Sugeno is a method that can be used to obtain the results of a diagnosis on an expert system. The stages of the Sugeno fuzzy method are the formation of fuzzy sets applying the implication function (rules). Rule composition, obtained from a data set of relationships between rules. Defuzzification, the input of defuzzification is a constant or linear equation.

Abstract

Barbershop business is a service business that has very bright prospects, considering that this business is needed by everyone, from children, teenagers, adults, to the elderly. The development of this business is certainly influenced by the fact that human hair continues to grow every second. When it is long, the hair will be cut. And, not everyone can cut their hair neatly and nicely, so many people choose to entrust the job to a hairdresser. To run this business, there are many tools and equipment that must be prepared, one of which is a hair clipper. There are many factors to consider when choosing a hair clipper. Therefore, to overcome this problem, the purpose of this study is to determine the sub-criteria in the selection of hair clippers and to choose the right hair shaver. In this study, the method used is the Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. This ANP method is a development of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This ANP method is able to accommodate linkages between criteria, sub-criteria or alternatives. From the research that has been done, there are 4 criteria and 8 sub-criteria and 7 alternative choices. Based on the results of data processing, the weights for the criteria are: Price (0.35), Machine Type (0.32), Material (0.13), Function (0.19). While the weights for the alternatives are as follows: Kemei KM-809A Electric Hair Clipper (0.0507), Mitsuyama MS-5022 Professional Trimmer (0.029), Wahl Cordless Magic Clip (0.026), Nova NHC 3788 Professional Rechargeable Trimmer (0.0178), Philips HC3426/ 15 Hair Clipper (0.0156), Harnic HCL-008 Magnetic Hair Clipper (0.0121), Small Mountain STM-A008 (0.0072)

Abstract

Before performing prayers, Muslims must first take ablution water. So far, the provision of ablution water from mosques and prayer rooms is almost 100% using a faucet that is turned manually, sometimes it is troublesome and water is often wasted (wasteful). Therefore, the purpose of this research is to build a prototype automatic ablution water controller in the form of developing a system with an Arduino-based ultrasonic sensor. The tool that is built based on the prototype will be able to issue ablution water automatically and stop automatically, depending on the limb that is brought close to the end of the pipe that will discharge the water. This monitoring works by using an ultrasonic sensor, where the object under the sensor becomes the input. The ultrasonic sensor will be connected to the Arduino microcontroller which is useful for running this system, which provides information on the relay to activate the mini water pump and release water. So it can be concluded that this system is able to help control the use of ablution water to be more efficient.

Abstract

The door is the most important and important part of a room to pay attention to its safety compared to other parts because it is from the door that everyone will enter or leave. This study aims to build a door security device using a Fingerprint sensor based on Arduino Mega 256. The door that will be given a security device is the door in classes at STIKOM Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar. This tool can be used as a security control system at the classroom door, users do not need to use manual security such as keys, and this tool is also equipped with an alarm as a marker when the Fingerprint sensor is accessed by someone who is not the owner, this alarm will sound. This system consists of hardware and Software. The hardware consists of an Arduino Uno, Fingerprint sensor, buzzer, Selenoid door, LCD and then the Software on this system uses the Arduino IDE program. This system runs if the Fingerprint sensor detects a finger from the user, the solenoid as a door lock will open. Otherwise, if the sensor does not see a finger from the user, the solenoid as a door lock will not open, and an alarm will sound. This door safety device can effectively be used as security on classroom doors and other rooms such as leadership rooms, education rooms and staff rooms
